A holiday gift exchange for a friend of her PC in our shared D&D campaign, a human bard named Peach. I had fun giving her a dynamic pose and working with the color palette that the references provided. January 5, 2022.
Materials: Clip Studio Paint EX & Wacom Intuos Tablet
A commission for a friend of her and a third friend’s characters, drawn as though in a fantasy setting, in my best approximation of the line art style used in the manga Witch Hat Atelier by Shirahama Kamome (side-note, cannot recommend enough, absolutely gorgeous inking on every page). June 13th, 2021.
Materials: Clip Studio Paint EX & Wacom Intuos Tablet
A painting I started in Fall 2018, of the first time my D&D character used the spell Toll The Dead. We were attacked by corrupted deer in the middle of the public library, for those who are curious. August 4th, 2019.
Materials Used: Clip Studio Paint EX & Wacom Intuos Tablet
An illustration created for a zine relating to an event hosted by my school’s Queer Resource Center. Depicting the sensation of being unable to do something unless you’re already doing something, and then being unable to stop because you won’t be able to start again if you do. April 21st, 2019.
Materials Used: Clip Studio Paint EX & Wacom Intuos Tablet
Another stress-relief piece, this ended up being a small exercise in line and color. I had a lot of fun with it in the end! It’s a definite improvement on the similar water theme for ‘Seven’ from a year or two prior. The character is Zahil, who will appear (eventually) in my webcomic Watcher & Weaver. Finished June 23rd, 2018.
Materials: MangaStudio 5e, Wacom Bamboo tablet, stock images (gold texture).
An art piece I did around mid-term when I was feeling especially stressed and frustrated (hence the placeholder name 'vent'). I haven't done a lot of pieces that focus on visual design rather than 'story' recently, so this was a nice break. The character featured is my D&D character Raven. February 9th, 2018.
